Mass spectra of the DAG region from mouse heart samples with (bottom) and without (top) the addition of salt. Asterix (*) indicates peaks that show increase in the NaCl sample. All the “DAG” labeled peaks are [M+H-H2O]+/[M-RCOO]+ ions. Intensities are normalized to the number of pixels selected for total area. Analyses were carried out using a 40 keV (CO2)6k+ ion beam at a primary ion dose of 1 × 1013 ions/cm2.
