Mutation of SlSBPASE upregulated the expression of SAG (SENESCENCE-ASSOCIATED GENE, Solyc02g076910.2) and SEN (SENESCENCE, Solyc12g008460.1), and downregulated the expression of CAB1 (chlorophyll a/b-binding protein 1, Solyc02g070970.1) and RBCS (Rubisco small subunit, Solyc07g017950.2) in slsbpase mutant plants.
