Uncertainty in Michaelis–Menten model parameters scales proportionally with the normalized root-mean-square error (NRMSE) of the product calibration data. Estimates of uncertainty in Km (▲) and Vmax (•) obtained from the conventional method (solid lines) are more conservative than uncertainty estimates produced from generalizable bootstrapping approach (dashed lines) for NRMSE ≤ 0.05%, suggesting the uncertainty in the product calibration is negligible in that regime.
