The competitive CD4 binding assay results of analogs of 3 (A). Among these analogs, 29 showed the best binding affinity with an IC₅₀ value of 14 µM (B,C). 29 inhibited HIV-1 infection in a dose-dependent manner (D), and a CellTiter Blue assay of 29 showed a complete lack of cytotoxicity effect (E).
