Decreased expression levels of mitochondrial respiratory chain complexes in H2O2-treated cochlear explants. (A) The organ of Corti explants of the Idh2+/+ and Idh2−/− mice were treated with H2O2 and/or MitoQ for 3 days. Altered expression levels of the oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS) subunits I, III and V were detected in the total protein lysates from H2O2-treated cochlea by Western blot analysis. β-actin served as a loading control.
