Correlations of the Poyang Lake JM (only cortisol vs. fT4) and AM between cortisol and blood, biochemical and hormonal parameters. Cortisol showed statistically significant negative associations with lymphocyte (r = −0.5851) and TP (r = −0.5565). The neutrophil (r = 0.6931), AMS (r = 0.5553), Ca⁺² (r = 0.737), and fT4 (r = 0.7038) showed significant positive associations with cortisol. The juvenile male of Poyang Lake showed nearly a significant positive relationship between serum cortisol and fT4 (r = 0.5981; P = 0.0586).
