(A) IL-12 induces interferon γ (IFN-γ) release in Tregs from healthy controls and multiple sclerosis (MS) patients, and (B) decreases suppressive function (Dominguez-Villar et al. 2011). (C) 40-mm sodium chloride significantly reduces Treg-suppressive function in Tregs isolated from healthy donors (Hernandez et al. 2015).
