Effect of the parameter P0. The scale of the pressure modification of the growth is 0.1 (a), unity (b) and 10 (c). The colour of the cells is an indication of the internal pressure, blue is minus unity, green is zero, red is unity. For low values of P0, the growth is restricted, there are few divisions, resulting in a small sample with homogeneous pressure. For large values, cells grow and divide freely, giving a large sample with a high central pressure. The parameter has little effect on the structure, but a large effect on pressure profile and size.
