The EEVN motif of PfHsp70‐x is important for its interaction with human hop in vitro. The representative interaction curves generated from the ELISA analysis of PfHsp70‐x‐hHop association (A) and PfHsp70‐x_T‐hHop association (B). The assay was conducted in the presence of varying amounts of hHop towards establishing dose‐dependent association. The assay was repeated in presence of 5 mM ADP for PfHsp70‐x‐hHop association (C) and PfHsp70‐x_T‐hHop association (D); and in the presence of 5 mM ATP for PfHsp70‐x‐hHop association (E) and PfHsp70‐x_T‐hHop association (F), respectively. The comparison of the relative binding affinities between PfHsp70‐x vs hHop, PfHsp70‐x_T versus hHop under different conditions were normalized to the maximum absorbance value obtained at the highest concentration of analyte used (G).
