EtOH exposure increases TLR7 mRNA and let‐7‐induced TNF α and mRNA expression in cultured VL‐17A cells, a recombinant human HCC cell line which express alcohol‐metabolizing enzymes. VL‐17A cells were exposed to EtOH (100 mM) for 24 hours followed by exposure to liposomal let‐7 mimic (5 nM or 30 nM), a TLR7 agonist, for 24 hours. TLR7 (A) and TNF α (B) mRNA expressions were determined by qPCR.
