Protein levels were measured using 50 μg of total protein from each sample running in a 12% (w/v) reducing SDS–PAGE. The intensity of the bands was measured using GAPDH as endogenous reference. Quantitative analyzes were performed by densitometry using ImageJ Software [35]. Results are presented as mean and standard error (± SEM), and are representative of two independent experiments.
