Immune cell populations in BALF. Wild type and IFNγR^-/- mice were infected with IAV and BALF collected at indicated times post-infection. Frequency of CD4⁺ T cells (A), CD8⁺ T cells (B), neutrophils (C), and alveolar macrophages (AMs) (D) were quantified by FACS. CD4⁺ and CD8⁺ T cells were detected with directly conjugated antibodies to CD4 and CD8. Neutrophils were CD11b⁺Ly6G⁺ and AMs were CD11b^-,CD11c⁺,SiglecF⁺ populations. Graphs show individual mice from two independent experiments, n = 2 mice per PBS group and n = 4 per virus group.
