Rate of responsiveness of the blood variables to exercise independently of the training mode. Responsiveness was determined as a positive change greater than the smallest worthwhile change (calculated for each molecule as twice the typical error of measurement and expressed as a percentage). All molecules were measured in 17 subjects except for IL-15 and PYY, which were measured in 9 and 14 subjects, respectively.
