Corneal levels of RANTES, IL-15, MIG, KC, TNF-α and IL-10 are induced during corneal re-epithelialization and down regulated by CAP37 at 24h. A 2 mm circular epithelial abrasion was created on mouse cornea and treated with saline or CAP37 eye drop at 0 and 16 h. Corneas were collected and flash frozen at indicated times post corneal abrasion. Corneal lysates were analyzed for cytokines using the Milliplex® MAP mouse cytokine assay. The mean of 4 to 6 independent values obtained from 4 to 6 mice are shown ± SEM. The levels of cytokines in unwounded corneas were compared to wounded corneas treated with saline and to wounded corneas treated with CAP37 corneal samples for each time point using two-way ANOVA and Tukey’s multiple comparisons test, *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01, ***P < 0.005, ****P < 0.0001.
