Aurantio-obtusin inhibits ACh-induced Ca²⁺ increases in single tracheal smooth muscle cells. (A) ACh induced a transient and a sustained increase of intracellular Ca²⁺. The latter was inhibited following the addition of aurantio-obtusin. The values at the sites indicated by a and b were obtained. (B) Summary results from 26 cells. ^∗∗∗P < 0.001. These results indicate that aurantio-obtusin inhibits increased Ca²⁺.
