Representative patterns of the superior temporal gyrus (STG). The first column displays the four discovered patterns. The second column presents the close-up views of distinct parts. The dashed arrows in patterns 1 and 2 point to the flat and bended posterior regions of STG, while in patterns 3 and 4 they point to the distinct gyral folds. Columns 3–7 display five typical individuals in each pattern, which indeed demonstrated that our discovered patterns exist in the dataset.
