A schematic view of the studied configuration: (a) shows the case of a linear shear flow obtained by imposing the velocity of the upper and lower walls; (b) shows a similar configuration but for a Poiseuille flow; the imposed flow is generated by a bulk force term fbulk, which ensures a parabolic profile with maximal velocity umax.
