A, Example traces showing the effects of everolimus on the frequency of sEPSCs recorded from 2 TSC cases. Cells were held at −70 mV to minimize the contribution of inhibitory synaptic activity and BIC (20 μm) was added to the ACSF. Long‐term (>15 min) application of everolimus reduced the frequency of sEPSCs and also decreased bursting activity (arrow), as well as the occurrence of large‐amplitude synaptic events.
