Schematic illustration of preparation of FASOC-UCNP-ZnPC nanoparticles and folate-mediated binding to tumor cells. ZnPC was encapsulated into the FASCO-UNCP as the PDT agent. The UCNP absorbing 980nm light and activated the ZnPC which has a 660nm excitation wavelength. This nanoparticle could be uptaken specificly by the tumor cell overexpressing the folate receptor.
