Wounds from vehicle treated (A-B) or nicotine treated (C-D) control Leprdb/+ and spontaneous diabetic Leprdb/db mice were excised at day 1 post-wounding and subjected to HPLC fractionation and radial diffusion assay. Bacterial growth inhibition diameters were measured using ImageJ software. Data were statistically analyzed by Mann-Whitney test. N=4–5 samples/group.
