Geomorphological map of the Fildes Region derived from Michel et al. Quadrats of Group 1 and Group 2 were located at Holocene raised beaches (No. 15) and marine platforms (periglacial landforms belonging to Tertiary volcanic stratigraphy, No. 14). The landform type of quadrat Q7 can be deemed as part of the Holocene raised beaches because it suffered recent glacio-isostatic uplift but was still covered by ice during that uplift (personal communication with Michel, 2018).
