Preparation and treatment of BSLB to the surgical wound injury. (A) BSLB was prepared by serial processing consisting of bleaching, neutralizing, milling, dissolving and mixing. (B) A cutaneous wound measuring 8 mm in diameter and 2–4 mm in depth was created by removing the skin tissue using a biopsy punch. These were treated with GZ, MFLB, LoBSLB or HiBSLB, which were replaced every 4 days. BSLB, liquid bandage; GZ, gauze; MFLB, medifoam liquid bandage; LoBSLB, low concentration BSLB; HiBSLB, high concentration BSLB.
