S. aureus Cas9 does not exhibit detectable post-cleavage trimming activity on cleaved DNA. Data are plotted as relative fluorescence versus DNA oligomer length. The trend was consistently observed over the course of our experimentation (n > 10) with SpyCas9 and SauCas9.
