Immunofluorescent assay revealed a decrease of FCV infectivity after DBD plasma treatment. The FCV-infected cell lysate was subjected to DBD plasma treatment for 0, 0.5, 1, and 2 min. Recovered lysate was added to Candell-Rees feline kidney (CRFK) cells and after culturing for 1 day the cells were fixed with glutaraldehyde and analyzed by an immunofluorescent assay using anti-FCV antibody. Uninfected control (−) was included. Phase contrast images (exposure time 1/7 sec) and the results of the immunofluorescent assay for FCV (Green) (exposure time 4 sec) are shown.
