The SNPs were selected for investigation due to their contribution to the formation of the OXPHOS complexes. Displayed below are the SNP designation, the missense variant, the affected gene, and the allele present in each of the six mouse strains used for this study. Strains are separated based on degree of admixture present in their genomes. Alleles consistent with the missense variant of the protein are highlighted.
