Synthesis scheme of 124I-(cRGDyk)2-UCNP conjugates. Polymer-coated UCNP (pcUCNP) was reacted both with (cRGDyk)2 peptide and with MeO-PEGNH2 (molecular weight, 2,000) using EDC/Nhydroxysulfosuccinimide.
