a

Green. Measured between a point determined to fall within each of the scaphoid and lunate bones in all planes. This was made at the midpoint of the scapholunate joint in each of the sagittal, coronal, and axial planes.

b

Red. A line made dorsal to middle/green line on the axial images. This line was connecting points on the cortex of the scaphoid and lunate.

c

Blue. A line made volar to middle/green line on the axial images. This line was connecting points on the cortex of the scaphoid and lunate.
