Construction and characterization of Adenovirus-vectored vaccine. (A) The ZIKV strain PRVABC59 prM-E region with a VSV G signal peptide under the control of a CMV promoter was cloned into the Ad5 and Ad4 genomes in the E1 region. Ad5 was also deleted for the E3 region. (B) A representative western blot comparing the levels of ZIKV-E protein expression from Ad4-prM-E and Ad5-prM-E infected 293 cells infected at an MOI of 1.
