HT suppresses the production of LPS-induced inflammatory mediators in RAW264.7 cells. RAW264.7 cells were stimulated by LPS (0.25 µg/ml) and cultured with HT (0–12.5 µg/ml) for 24 hr. NO concentrations in cell culture media were evaluated using an NO detection kit. The concentrations of PGE2, TNF-α, IL-1β in cell culture media and of COX-2 in cell extracts were evaluated by ELISA.
