The model of miR‐520b regulating NSCLC tumourigenesis. (A) In normal lung cells, SPOP ubiquitinates GLI2/3, resulting in GLI2/3 degradation and Hh pathway suppression. Under this condition, Hh pathway activity keeps at the basal level. (B) In NSCLC cells, miR‐520b is up‐regulated and targets SPOP mRNA, removing SPOP‐mediated GLI2/3 destabilization.
