Structural-connectivity based segmentation of two exemplary patients. The first patient (left) had a decrease in tremor rating score (TRS) from 63 to 16 (75% decrease) and shows greater overlap of the volume of tissue activated (red) with the region most connected with the supplementary motor area/premotor cortex (yellow). The second patient (right) shows greater overlap of the volume of tissue activated with the region most connected to the primary motor cortex (blue) and only had a decrease in TRS from 34 to 25 (26% decrease).
