22-F-PD1 (3) enhances human macrophage efferocytosis of apoptotic PMN. Human macrophages were incubated with either vehicle control (PBS+/+, EtOH 0.01%), PD1 (1) or 22-F-PD1 (3) for 15 min at 37 °C, followed by fluorescent-labeled apoptotic PMN at a 5:1 ratio of PMN:macrophage for 60 min. Results showed as ± SEM, n = 6 independent experiments. Results were compared to vehicle control using a paired t-test, statistical significance defined as * p ≤ 0.05, ** p ≤ 0.01.
