Neutrophils were incubated with a point source of Slit2 proteins or fMLP for 10 minutes, then fixed and stained with antibodies to (A) CD11b or (B) phosphorylated AKT substrates. Staining across the cell from the side of the cell closest to the chemo-stimulant (0 on the graph) to the far side of the cell was analyzed by Image J. The results are mean ± SEM of 10 cells analyzed from three different donors (30 cells total). * indicates p < 0.05 compared to the control unstimulated cells (2-way ANOVA, Dunnett’s multiple comparisons test).
