Evaluation experiment results from the earable ZEN: the seven healthy subjects A to G wearing the earable ZEN (males and females aged 21 to 62 years old, mean age 40.6 years old) performed zazen twice for approximately 3 minutes (187.2 seconds). During the first zazen, the subjects breathed 10 times deeply through the mouth, in accordance with the timing teaching LED. This simulated disturbances in breathing. During the second zazen, nods were performed 10 times, in accordance with the timing teaching LED. This simulated disturbances in posture. From the measurement results from the earable ZEN judging device during the experiment (values obtained in the experiment using the method in Section 3.3), accuracy, precision, and recall were obtained using Equations (7)–(9) in Section 4.2.
