Plasma concentration of TAG and apoB in DGAT1-LKO mice and controls after a 16 h fast. Mice were fasted for 16 h and then injected intraperitoneally with Triton WR-1339 to inhibit lipoprotein lipase activity. After l h, they were anesthetized and bled; blood samples were collected using heparinized syringes, and the plasma fraction was obtained by centrifugation at 10,000 g for 5 min. The plasma samples were frozen, and the concentrations of TAG (A) and apoB (B) were measured as described in Methods. C: The TAG/apoB ratios were obtained for individual mice, and the ratio values were analyzed (paired t-test).
