PBK001 immunization induces cellular immune response. On day 21 after the second boost, the spleens from PBS- or PBK001-vaccinated mice were harvested and restimulated with BSA or heat-killed B. pseudomallei K96243 whole-cell lysate (WCL) for 3 days. IFN-γ, IL-17A, and TNF-α production in cell supernatants was measured using ELISA. The data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA (Kruskal-Wallis test).
