Acoustic spectrum of variation of titanium golf driver head impact noise. This figure is an example of the sound stimulus applied in this study. The repetitive impact noise, which lasted for 2 hours (1,440 repetitions), is centered at 4.5 kHz and has a peak sound pressure level of about 120 dB, a repetition rate of once per 5 seconds, and a duration of 0.2 seconds.
