Blood vessels in shPHD3 tumors are lined with endothelium and contain perivascular cells. Pieces of tumor tissue were fixed, sectioned, and transmission electron micrographs of tumor blood vessels were taken. Control as well as shPHD3 tumor vessels are lined by endothelial cells.
