XRD patterns of the synthetic and biological jarosite. Powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns of both the samples prepared in this study for spectroscopic analysis. Mineral identification of the synthesized material and the microbial culture precipitates (i.e., the biological sample) are consistent with the Fe3+-bearing sulfate mineral jarosite [(K,H3O)Fe3(SO4)2(OH)6].
