Results are reported as ratio between length of basal lamina and 1 mm (Interdigitation Index), number of papillae counted in 1 mm of skin biopsie and as Δ%, i.e., the percent difference comparing Group 1. (0.8 to 3.9) and Group 2. (4.1 and 8.0) years from SCI. Statistical significance was considered p<0.05. The data in bold are significant.
