Identifying component isomers of glycan compositions identified by MS. (A) Using the solution glycans from the mass-informed analysis of experiment two, the weights of all isomers of a given mass were summed, and the sums were converted to their fractions of the total over all masses. Equivalent calculations were made for the reference glycans using their relative abundances from Fig. 2. (B) For each mass, the relative compositions of the isomers were compared between the solution glycans and the reference glycans. Divided columns in the solution glycans indicate proportions of specific isomers that were ambiguously defined in the reference glycans.
