Colony formation of C4-2, LNCaP, PC3 and RWPE-1 cells after 1mM and 2mM of metformin treatment. Cells were seeded into 100 mm plates at 500-2000 cells per plate and were then treated with different doses of metformin for 24 hr. Cell survival was determined by colony formation assay. The data is a representation of three independent experiments that were quantified using image J software.
