Baffled shake flask experiments to determine the effect of different induction points and inducer concentrations. Cultures were grown in 100 mL of terrific broth in 500 mL baffled shake flasks and samples were taken at induction and at 6 h and 24 h after induction. Samples were analysed for OD600 (a), CFU mL−1 (b), percentage plasmid retention (c), periplasmic scFv concentration (d) and percentage of scFv in the periplasm (e)
