CP1 in vitro cytotoxicity assessment. Three cell lines were subjected to cytotoxicity by MTS assay. Various CP1 concentrations were tested (0.0 to 128 mg/liter) without showing significant toxicity. The 3 cell lines evaluated showed high viability after 24 h in contact with CP1, even at concentrations of 2× MIC (64 mg/liter). The results are representative of those from 3 independent experiments. Bars indicate SDs.
