ISL inhibited M1 macrophage polarization and neutrophil activation while stimulated M2 macrophage polarization. The expression of CD68, CD206, iNOS, MPO was determined by immunohistochemistry in four animal groups. LPS increased the expression of CD68, iNOS and MPO but decreased the expression of CD206 in murine kidney, while ISL reduced the expression of CD68, iNOS and MPO then increased the expression of CD206 in mice kidney after LPS injection.
