mAb A treatment improves ejection fraction and fractional shortening post myocardial infarction (MI). a Schematic of the study design and treatment protocol. Mice were randomised to undergo either sham or left anterior descending (LAD) coronary artery ligation surgery. A week after the surgery, mice in both groups were randomly assigned to receive either saline (vehicle) or mAb A treatment (4 mg kg−1 week−1, s.c.) for 3 weeks.
