Arabidopsis suspension cells were treated with HrpZpto at the final concentration of 150 nM. At the indicated time points, samples were taken, and the generation of superoxide anion was followed by the oxidation of hydroxylamine to nitrite. The H2O2 content of the samples was determined by xylenol orange assay as described in Materials and methods. Samples, collected from each cell culture before treatments were indicated as zero time point. Value represents mean ± SD from three independent HrpZpto treatments.
