Data source: Linked data sets of 2015 AHA Annual Survey, CMS Hospital Compare, and American Community Survey were used for the analysis.

Note 1:

“FUH-7 or FUH-30 Performance Score” refers to the average hospital performance scores on the FUH measures. Hospitals had an average performance score of 32.84% on the FUH-7 measure and an average performance score of 55.8% on the FUH-30 measure.

Note 2:

“Electronic Health Records” (EHRs) refers to the percentage of hospitals that had EHRs. 43.47% of hospitals with publicly reported FUH-7 data had EHRs.

Note 3:

“Percent of Community that is Hispanic” refers to the average percentage of Hispanic residents that live in the community in which the hospital is located. On average, hospitals with publicly reported FUH-7 data were located in communities were 12.53% of the population is Hispanic.
