Recombinant human BAK K113C (∆N22/∆C25/6‐His) was combined with recombinant UbG76C and treated with oxidant to induce disulphide linkage. Disulphide‐linked protein was separated from non‐linked proteins by anion exchange chromatography. Fractions were run on a non‐reducing SDS–PAGE gel and Coomassie stained. Fraction #2 was used as the source of BAK‐Ub.Source data are available online for this figure.
