50% inhibitory concentrations (IC50) for DHS (1), C3 (2a), C6 (2b), C8 (2c), C10 (2d), C11 (2e), C12 (2f), C13 (2g), C14 (2h), C15 (2i), C16 (2j), C17 (2k), C18 (2l), C13-di (3g), and PhSeSePh (4) against lipid peroxidation of soybean lecithin/cholesterol liposome. AAPH (3.1 mM) was used as a hydrophilic radical initiator. The assay conditions were at pH 7.4 and 37 °C for 3 h. Error bars are given as standard deviations.
